GABY + TOM
Gaby & Tom - Findon Place Wedding Videography
Findon Place in West Sussex is a venue I never get tired of filming at, and Gaby and Tom's August wedding there was a brilliant reminder of why. Hot summer sunshine, a beautiful church ceremony virtually on the venue's doorstep, and a day full of genuine warmth and emotion — it was one of those weddings that just flows perfectly from start to finish.
I'm Mike, a Brighton-based wedding videographer, and this was one of the highlights of my 2024 season.
The morning preparations were split across two locations; Gaby getting ready at Findon Place itself, Tom over at Findon Manor - which gave the day a lovely sense of two separate stories coming together. Gaby wore a stunning Suzanne Neville dress, and the detail shots were beautiful.
The ceremony took place at St John the Baptist Church in Findon village, a gorgeous old flint church literally a stone's throw from Findon Place. There's something really special about a church ceremony when the venue is this close: guests spilled out onto the lane afterwards before walking back together for a drinks reception in the grounds, complete with a string quartet from South Downs Strings.
The wedding breakfast and speeches followed in the evening with Gaby's dad Gary, Tom and best man George all delivered, with George's best man speech in particular going down brilliantly. Findon Place's dining space, with its views over the West Sussex countryside, made for a stunning backdrop as the light softened into evening. Unity DJ kept the dance floor full from the first dance onwards.
Photographer Kelsie Scully was fantastic to work alongside as always, check out her work here.

“Thank you so much for this - Tom and I have just finished watching both videos and they are magical. They really bring back the day! I am usually not that emotional, but I had tears in my eyes instantly watching our video. It is so special to be able to relive our day so thank you for capturing it so perfectly!”
